I proceeded my removing the f-ed up visual c++ 2015 install using MS' own tool: MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_ (dl here: ). I suspect it was updating visual c++ 2015 when it crashed, which I guess resulted in the registry keys being invalidated/misplaced/whatever idk, and that led to the situation where the civ6 launcher wouldn't even boot up anymore. Is this solved yet? Because I ran into a similar problem after I tried to install some buggy software and the installation failed halfway through, I had to hard reset my laptop and apparently a lot of my registry got f-ed.
